Characteristics of environment
Since the southeast people has a lot of woodlands, they used the trees to build roundhouses, made the bark into clothing, and collected sticks for a fire every night. The thick trees helped the men hunt for food and make useful weapons. Streams were also an important resource. The Chickasaw Indians used the streams to fish, bath, and get water. The tribe also picked berries from bushes and hid in them. The Mississippi River was a guide.
Characteristics of the group
The Chickasaw tribe was one of the most fiercest and insolent,naughty, and cruel tribe in the southeast. The tribe often raided other tribe's provisions. They took marriage seriously and were excellent swimmers. The tribe also was very experienced at tracking down animals and enemies by a single footprint. Men were extremely quick and skilled. The women were very protective of the camp.
