Clothing for the Chickasaw Indians were simple. Men wore a breechcloth and sometimes leather leggings. Their hair was held up by a hair roach which was made out of porcupine hair and they were shirtless. Women wore wrap around skirts made out of deerskin or woven fiber and they were not shirtless. They tied their hair up with string and decorated them with beads. All Chickasaw Indians wore moccasins(shoes)and poncho-style blouses(in cold weather). Some costumes that men wore were long colorful tunics while women wore full colorful skirts with ribbons. The tribe adapted the costumes from Europeans.
